Stefan Spears

CEO and Director

Mr. Spears has over 20 years experience as a senior executive in the resource exploration and mining industry. He began his mining career at Goldcorp and in 2005 joined McEwen Capital Corporation to focus on resource sector investments. From 2008 to 2012, he was Vice President in charge of U.S. Projects for McEwen Mining (TSX/NYSE:MUX). After successfully founding Coreprint Patterns Inc., an innovative sand casting pattern manufacturer whose repeat clients have included several multi-national corporations in the mining and industrial sectors, Mr. Spears rejoined McEwen Mining in 2015 to address Special Projects with a focus on corporate development. He has experience in gold exploration in Canada, USA, and Mexico, and was involved in raising over C$1 billion in equity capital for exploration and development projects. Mr. Spears holds a B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from Queen’s University. He is also a board member of Sabre Gold Mines (TSX-V:SGLD).

Carmelo Marrelli 

CFO

Mr. Marrelli is the principal of Marrelli Support Services Inc., a firm that has delivered accounting and regulatory compliance services to listed companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange for over twenty years. In addition, Carmelo is controlling shareholder of DSA Corporate Services Inc., a firm providing corporate secretarial and regulatory filing services. Carmelo is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA, CGA), and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a professional body that certifies corporate secretaries. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. Carmelo also acts as chief financial officer to a number of reporting issuers on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange and as a director of select issuers.

Wesley Whymark

President and Head of Exploration

Mr. Whymark is a distinguished Professional Geoscientist with over fourteen years of experience in mineral exploration. His specialization encompasses the exploration of precious and base metals deposits, with a particular focus on orogenic, paleoplacer, hydrothermal, and magmatic-type mineral systems. Mr. Whymark earned his Bachelor of Science Honours degree from Laurentian University and advanced his academic knowledge conducting postgraduate PhD research at Würzburg University. He is a registered Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO).

In his professional career, Wesley has spearheaded multiple greenfields and advanced exploration programs demonstrating extensive project management capabilities across various phases of exploration. His proficiencies extend to a wide array of exploration activities including, a strong foundation of geological mapping, prospecting and geological data analysis/interpretation and target generation. Moreover, his expertise encompasses, project planning, exploration and directional definition drilling, 3D Modelling, GIS analysis and data compilation, Bulk sampling, QA/QC analysis, sampling methodologies and technical reporting.

Bill Fisher

Chairman

Mr. Fisher is a geologist with extensive industry experience including posts in Africa, Australia, Europe and Canada. He was a production geologist developing and mining paleoplacer diamond deposits in Angola and Guinea and served as a director of Rockwell Diamonds, which was mining placers in the Orange River valley in South Africa. He was CEO of Karmin Exploration which discovered the Aripuanã base metal massive sulphide deposits in Brazil. From 1997 to 2001, he was Vice President, Exploration for Boliden AB, a major European mining and smelting company where he was responsible for thirty-five exploration and development projects in nine countries. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Fisher led GlobeStar Mining Corp. from an exploration company to an emerging precious and base metal producer in the Dominican Republic, financing and developing the Cerro de Maimon copper/gold mine, which was sold to Perilya for $186 million. He was also Chairman of Aurelian Resources, which was sold to Kinross Gold in 2008 for $1.2 billion after the discovery of the Fruta del Norte gold deposit in Ecuador (now operated by Lundin Gold). He was CEO of GoldQuest Mining in 2012 when it discovered the multi-million-ounce Romero gold deposit in the Dominican Republic. He currently serves as an independent director of GoldQuest Mining, Churchill Resources and Great Republic Mining.

Glen Milne

Director

Mr. Milne recently retired as a senior investment advisor with Canaccord Genuity Corp. where he had a long career managing investors' wealth as well as advising and raising capital for numerous resource issuers. He has been involved with Inventus as a significant shareholder and capital markets advisor for many years.

Gary Nassif

Director

Mr. Nassif is the former Senior Vice President of Jerritt Canyon Gold, a Nevada-based gold producer previously privately owned by Sprott Mining Inc. and recently acquired by First Majestic Silver Corp. He is currently President & CEO of Argentum Silver Corp., a TSX-V listed explorer. He has 25+ years’ experience in mining and exploration in Canada, Nevada and sub-Saharan Africa, where he focused mainly on gold, base metals and diamonds. He was previously a part of the management team of Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc., which was acquired in 2012 by IAMGOLD for $608 million. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Concordia University, a Master of Science from McGill University, and is a registered Professional Geoscientist.

Dr. Richard H. Sutcliffe

Director

Dr. Sutcliffe is a Professional Geoscientist with 30 years’ experience in global mineral exploration and development. He has had key management roles in developing several gold, platinum group metals, and copper-nickel mining projects. He is currently President of Pavey Ark Minerals Inc., a private exploration project generator, and also manages several Canadian exploration assets for a Virginia-based private company.

Robert Miszczuk

Director

Mr. Miszczuk is the president of Cooksville Steel Limited.

Perry Ing

Director, Audit Chair

Mr. Perry Ing, CA, CPA, CFA, is an accomplished executive who has served as the Chief Financial Officer of several high-profile mining companies including Kirkland Lake Gold (acquired by Agnico Eagle in 2022), Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (TSX:MPVD); and currently serves as CFO of McEwen Mining Inc. (NYSE/TSX:MUX). Perry brings a wealth of knowledge from his involvement in large gold and diamond mining operations and numerous corporate transactions.
